Kathlia, August 2010
30° 14′ 05″ N, 79° 54′ 43″ E, 3720 metres.
360° view, 60 frames, 4 exposures per frame.

Kathlia ia a traditional halt on the way to Sundurdunga and to Devi Kund beyond. This basic hut is the only shelter for a stretch of 30 kms. During the monsoons we crossed several torrential waterfalls. The last one had a rudimentary bridge. We crossed it to reach Kathlia in the evening only to find it washed away in the overnight storm. Cut off from the rest of the world for 7 days, we could only return once the rains had abated.
