Dhankar Gompa, an ancient Buddhist Temple, is situated in the district of Lahul and Spiti. The Gompa is built on a 300 metre high spur overlooking the confluence of Spiti and Pin rivers. It is one of the world’s most spectacular settings for a Gompa and offers a commanding view of the Spiti valley.
