Pangong Tso, September 2012
30°50′43″ N, 78°33′55″ E, 4252 metres.
360° view, 45 frames, 5 exposures per frame.

A mind-blowing chiaroscuro of an infinity of colours, shades and tints, sapphire skies reflected in the lake, forever changing to emerald green of the water, the imperceptible yet continuous change in the colours has a unique symphony. Pangong Tso is over 80 miles long and 60 % of the lake is controlled by China. Being a closed basin, no water flows out of Panogong Tso, thus making the water brackish.
