Khardung La, September 2012
34° 66′ 43″ N, 77° 36′15″ E, 5359 metres.
300° view, 30 frames, 5 exposures per frame.

Khardung La is widely, nut incorrectly, believed to be the world’s highest motorable pass. The pass on the Ladakh Range lies north of Leh and is the gateway to the Shyok and Nubra valleys. The Siachen Glacier lies partway up the Nubra Valley. To the left of the ridge, vibrant with Buddhist prayer flags is Leh, and to the right of the ridge is the Nubra Valley and Siachen glacier.
